I have my jury in less than 12 hours, and I’ve been listening to Jack Johnson all day. The trip has got me to this place where I cannot see, think, smell or indulge in anything discernible. But I feel. Some things never change.

Finally started my internship for my last semester at NID at Hewlett-Packard Research Labs in bangalore. Working on a top secret interaction design project!

Well, I’m trying to get an internship for my final semester right now. There’s some “recession” I hear, causing all the havoc. Companies have frozen hiring new people. The economy isn’t being friendly either. Probably a good time to start something on my own? … Maybe not?…

Trust me. There is so much to talk about here, I’m afraid this topic will run into volumes. For a start, I can sum it up as the best 1-1/2 years I’ve had in all my 23 years around here.

All of it, right from staying in the hostel, meeting new people, it was all so amazing, I still can’t get over moving away from life at NID. People keep talking about “you gotta move on… blah blah…” but for anyone who is experiencing the same feeling as I am at the moment, you’d get my drift. I’ve learnt so much in this very short period I’ve spent here, and it’s pretty much alarming to know that there’s so much to learn, in Design, about people, about life.

I love my work, and never thought Design meant so much to so many people in India. This is what I’d like to call “Experience Design”… and I’m guessing this is what is going to shape everything about my future!
